This image is of the Bob & Gail Niebrugge and their family.

Have you seen Gail's website? It’s just awesome. You can see her Fine Art Prints, News, her Biography, Sold Out Art Prints, Galleries, Original Paintings, How to Order, her Artist Journal, Articles, Studio/Tours, and Blogs. It is very cool. There is even a calendar of her upcoming events. We want to Congratulate Gail who was chosen to be park Artist at the Wrangell-St. Elias National Park in Alaska this year. She’ll be there July 12-13th at Copper Center and 14-19th at Kennecot for the rest of the time. On July 13 there will be a "Take a Walk Through the Eyes of an Artist" 1:15PM to 3:15PM with Gail on the grounds of the Wrangell-St. Elias National Park at the Visitor Information Centerin Copper Center, Alaska. Sketchbooks and colored pencils will be provided. Cameras and photographers are also welcome. You can visit Gail’s website at Niebrugge Studio. http://www.niebruggestudio.com/

It was in the finals for the 2006 Gayle Wilson Award of Excellence Contest and WisRWA's Write Touch Award for best Historical Romance Novel; and Won. It’s now being published in Spanish and Dutch. Her latest novel, "Heat of the Knight" will be coming out in November with this image on the cover. Keep up the great work Jackie… we’re looking forward to November! You can visit her website at http://www.jackieivie.com/.

Tim was photographer at the Palmer and Kenai Inaugural Balls. For the Anchorage Ball, Tim took photographs prior to the event and then we attended the Ball. This is an image of us with Sarah Palin. Left to right is Tim Berberich, Sarah Palin, and Jessica McGill. It was a fun time and a great success. There was great food and even some dancing. When we picked up our coats from the hatcheck we were given one of the "Alaska Governor’s Commemorative Inauguration Posters" that artist Gail Niebrugge was selected to paint. It is called "Rainbow of Promise". You can see it on Gail’s website with the story behind it.  Governor Palin's sight can be accessed at: http://www.gov.state.ak.us/

This image is the Alaska Children’s Choir (ACC).

The Choir consists of about 180 children, aged 5 to 18, all hailing from areas throughout south-central Alaska. There are six choir levels. Tim and I always say that there are so many great things to see and do in Alaska. That includes the wonderful art community. This children’s choir is unbelievable. These kids are so dedicated and diligent. They practice as hard as any professional adult choir does. Their work is superior. If you haven’t seen and heard them, you are missing out. You may even have a child that is interested. The Director is Janet Stotts. She really knows her stuff. She has summer workshops that are great fun. You can visit ACC’s website at: http://www.alaskachildrenschoir.net/.

These images are from the recent Great Strides walks that Tim photographed for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Yep, that’s Ted Sadler, the Mattress Ranch Guy. He is a Big sponsor for CFF. It isn’t hard to understand why. It is a very important cause.

In cities all across the United States, thousands of people are showing their commitment to "adding tomorrows every day" to the lives of those with CF through the simple act of walking.

Year after year, these volunteers make every GREAT STRIDES walk site both fun and successful. Their dedication has helped GREAT STRIDES become one of the country’s most effective and efficient fund-raising efforts. Since the first GREAT STRIDES walk in 1989, more than $180 million has been raised to support the vital research and care programs of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

The GREAT STRIDES Mat-Su Valley walk was held on Sunday, June 10th at Larson Elementary and Alcantra Fields. The event was a huge success with walkers coming from all over the valley to participate. In the end, the walk raised a record $56,000.

The GREAT STRIDES Anchorage walk was held on Sunday, June 10th at Goose Lake in the heart of Anchorage. This beautiful walk was a great way to end the GREAT STRIDES walk-a-thons with over $70,000 raised for CF research and care!

Tim really enjoyed helping out. It’s just so easy to reach out and help. Go to http://www.cff.org/Chapters/AlaskaBranch/ and you can look under volunteer links and upcoming events. See what you can do to help.
